In this graph, you can see that Both Xbox and  Ps4 both go up pretty consistently, with ps4 being in the lead. A possible reason for this could be the ps4's more affordable price of $399 instead of the Xbox One's more expensive price tag of $499. They both go up during the days around Christmas and Black Friday because they are commonly given as gifts. However, there are some spots where Xbox and or ps4 go up without the other going up. This can be explained by a new release of a product which concerns only one of the gaming systems. For example, the ps4 exclusive game spiderman was recently released on september 7th 2018. As you can see, the ps4 searches spike at the same time the spiderman searches do, but Xbox stays consistent. This is because spiderman isn't available on Xbox. Another example of this on the Xbox side is the release of the Xbox One X, which was released on November 7, 2017. This explains why Xbox slightly rises above Ps4 from November 5th to 11th.
